I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree of Library and Information Science. I also studied Spanish Language and Literature at the Universidad de Oviedo in Asturias, Spain.
Experience
I provide proofreading and editing services online. I also am well-experienced with citation and reference checking especially for theses and dissertations. I have a passion for languages which is why when I was in college I studied French, German and Spanish. In the end, it was Spanish that stuck with me. During my year abroad, I realized how important (and fun!) it is to learn another language besides English. It's the best way to get to know a community and its culture. Because of my exposure to various cultures during my academic year abroad, I was also fortunate to be able to intern at the United Nations Headquarters in New York as well as volunteer and intern at the Archive of Contemporary Music. Oh, and I also passed the IELTS with a grade of 8.5!
